Editor-in-chief

This is my title whenever Josh is in school. For those of you who don't know, Josh started his masters in education this year. This means that I started school as well : )  If Josh is in school, than so am I.  I guess that's not really true but when he has a lot of papers to write it feels like it. I have to edit almost anything he writes, and while his writing has improved since the time I first starting editing his papers back when we were newlyweds, it still requires quite a bit of time. I do not say this to put Josh down (Josh you know I would never do that) I just happen to be quite busy myself these days so this just adds to the list of things that I have to do in a day. His masters though will not only benefit him but will benefit me as well, monetarily that is, so maybe I shouldn't complain about it. Josh would agree I think : )
Again it is late...this time due to editing rather than my own work...but it is late non the less so this will be another short post.

I LOVE editing!

Friends in school used to ask me if I minded editing their papers...MIND?!?! I felt like a kid in a candy shop!!!

I guess I am kind of weird that way;-)

To sleep or to work - the question that working from home moms ask themselves every day!! Jackson goes to sleep at 7:00 and a lot of times I go to sleep at the same time and wake up in the early morning hours and start working again - that way I guarentee myself some sleep if he decides to wake up in the middle of the night!

Jess- I think Josh has found his new editor-in-chief...next paper I will forward to you : )

Jamie- Wow! I am impressed that you can get yourself to go to bed that early. I try to go to sleep early but somehow I don't get myself in bed until at least 11pm usually. I don't think I would get myself up really early though even if I did go to sleep really early. I am truly impressed!

Jason and I always edit (or "look over") everything we write. It just helps so much to have another pair of eyes go over your work. Sometimes, I get entrenched in an awkward sentence that i just cannot figure out how to phrase. Jason will look at it and say, "Why don't you just write this?"- and suddenly it's so obvious!
God knew what He was doing when He invented marriage ;)
